We restored the beauty to this circa 1915 classic “All American” residence marred by inconsistent renovations from the 1980s. To enlarge the kitchen footprint, we removed the doorway and framed the stairway to the downstairs family room. For the bathrooms, we installed new lavatory cabinets in a pleasing oval design and mounted wall mirrors and fixtures that recapture the traditional essence of the home.
